Otylia in a Swing Cot

I m 1 mth 3 weeks and 6 days old today.

This afternoon, Mummy came to Grandma house to see me again. I have been waiting for the whole morning and finally lost to the "sleep bug" in me. It was so comfortable in the swing cot and i fell asleep. Didn't know that mummy reached. See.. my clever mummy took picture to proof that she came..

"Mummy.. please come early next time, ok??"

Otylia first Christmas Day

Today is the first time I met 公公 as he was not in Singapore, and was back only recently. Since it was the first time we met, 公公 gave me a 红包 wishing me 快高长大.


Also, met my cousins Hongrui 哥哥, Enqi 姐姐 and Ericia 姐姐. 姑姑 has taken pictures for me and Ericia姐姐, who was borned in the year as me. She could rolled and crawl now but I can't. But mommy don't worry.. very soon I will be able to roll and crawl too..

Daddy has given me a Sasha bear named "Snowy" as christmas present. See the photo that was taken with "Snowy"..

Otylia is getting playful

Mummy came to see me today. I am so happy to see her.. She played "peek a boo" with me. She never failed to make me laugh.

Tomorrow is 婆婆's birthday, Daddy says he is going to bring me to Pasir Ris for dinner. Yeah!! I can go out again.. Mummy says she is bringing me home to stay for the night after tat..

Went to Godma housewarming party

Godma - also my Ah Yee invited us to her housewarming party on 21 Dec. This is the first time Daddy bring me out since my first month party. I must behave myself to show Daddy that I could be a good girl so that he would bring me out often.

What a spread!! Mommy kept asking me "Darling.. u want a bite".. Humph!! My mommy asked.. but didn't put it inside my mouth..

*Yawn*.. so tired!! Oops.. nap time again!! Daddy & Mommy, are u done with the talking and eating? find me a place to lie down to sleep!!

1 month old

外婆 says I m getting more and more pretty. Also getting smarter everyday. 大舅舅 always comes to talk to me when he's back from work. I am bored lying down on the cot all day so I entertained him with my "kickboxing"... haha.. hopefully.. that would encourage him to come to keep me company more often.

1 Week Old

This is how I looks like when I am 1 week old.

My Mommy hasn't got enough milk to feed me.. It's not my Mommy fault.. Mommy just need more time... She loves me so much that she bear all the pain from pumping milk just to make sure that I could benefit from breastfeeding. Mommy, though I look slimmer but I look prettier... haha.. don't you think so?

I can show 姑姑that I m no longer a 小胖妹.

Arrival of Otylia

This is a very special day for Mommy.

At 3am - 6am in the morning, Mommy was having a diarrhea. Running in and out of the washroom at least 5 times.

At 6am - 7am, diarrhea stopped and thought that I could have a good sleep but was waken up by the stomach pain again. This time the pain is different. Mommy guess it might be contraction pain. So, Mommy started to time the pain interval and knew that Otylia is coming to this world soon.

At 7am - 9am, Mommy wake your Daddy up. As the pain is pretty mild, Daddy says let's not rush to hospital yet. Daddy said he is going to prepare breakfast and ask Mommy to watch TV programme.

At 10am, we reached the hospital. The midwife checked on Mommy and confirm that Mommy is going into labour.

Our little angel - Otylia was borned in Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Whoa!! 3.5kg, that was huge. Mommy took more than 1 hr of pushing but failed to push Otylia out of the comfortable womb. Finally, Dr Ong arrived. Daddy and Mommy heard ur first cries...

Daddy cut the umbilical cord for Otylia.

Daddy says Otylia got lots of hair, and looks like a Japanese..
And 姑姑 says u r a 小胖妹

Thank you for coming to this world safely and healthily. This is what matters most to me!!
