I had many photo shots taken this week by shushu. With simple and last mins props like red bouncy ball, playskool blocks and yeo's packet drink turned simple pictures into something special. Many amuse and good moments were captured.

Celebrating 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday to me!!!

The pictures itself explained the enjoyment on my birthday. We had this mini-bash which Daddy thought it would be more meaningful to be with all my loved one.

Including daddy.. Lesson learnt, occasion like birthday should put on something colourful, ya??


This was the finale. When Daddy passed me a piece of cake to squash it. He guessed as much that i would enjoy squashing the cake. His initial plan was to let me have the whole cake to mash.

Roseola aka fake measles

Unfortunately, many things happened last week.

Of a sudden, i was down with fever (37.8) on Tues. Waipo took my temperature and rang mommy. I was lethargic and eating poorly, and decided that i should take medicine to bring fever down. Fortunately, we had standby medicines for fever and flu.

However, my fever went on and off. Mommy nearly bring me to PD but Daddy thought that we should stay calm since the temp was below 38 deg. On Thu, which was the 3rd day, Waipo said fever did not erupt since the night before and i was so actively crawling and cruising, ends up i had a fall and knock onto my face, resulted a bruise at the side of my face.


As scheduled, we went to Dr Low clinic for vaccine appointment on fri. Ideal weight for me shd be at 9kg. I was underweight by 1kg. Mommy was convinced that it was dued to my poor appetite during these few days.





As usual, i refused to lie flat to have my height recorded. The clinic assistant suggested that i shall stand to measure my height.









The first word from Dr Low :" How's Otylia doing?"

Mommy started shooting with her concerns.

He examined me and asked questions on my symptoms. At the same time, Waipo highlighted to Dr Low of the tiny red spot at my back as he was checking my body. Dr Low diagnosed me with Roseola aka fake measles, suggested us to re-schedule it to another week in case more rash patches might appeared and worsen if vaccine.

I needed plenty of rest and fluid. Was told not to worry about the rashes, it will diminish in few days time. Also, Dr Low said i had 2 ulcers in my mouth, but it was not HFMD.

Appointment was rescheduled to another week, daddy and mommy will have to apply for leave again.

Since we were there and the christmas decorations were up inside the Paragon, we took a few pictures. Realised that most of the shot wasn't focus at the decorations. Next week on my reschedule appointment, mommy will definitely shoot more of it, with decoration.











After which, we headed East. We went to changi village for lunch before we visit gong gong in Pasir ris. We packed some sinful snacks. Goreng pisang was mommy favourite. That stall used riper bananas hence it tasted simply delicious when fried.
